The world’s biggest coin is equivalent to the weight of 16 people.
It’s round in shape, weighs a massive 1,012 kg (1 ton) and measures 80cm (2 feet and 7.79 in) in diameter and 13 cm (5.12in) in thickness.
It’s not made of silver, but it’s made of 99.9% pure gold.
The coin is called “1 Tonne Australian Kangaroo” created by the Perth Mint, the official bullion mint of Western Australia government.
It holds the current Guinness World Record as the “Largest Coin in the World” since February 9, 2012 up until now.

This coin is worth 1 million Australian Dollar (US$992.849.80; £623,930.51).
